I hope the liberals feel as stupid as they appear for whining about the NSA's surveillance of emails and phone logs of suspected terrorists....as evidenced by the Atlanta perp.

They skewer Bush for "not connecting the dots" before 9/11; they skewer Bush for connecting the dots after 9/11.

Are you kidding? First, liberals are smarter than everyone else, so they can "connect the dots" without any kind of surveillance whatsoever, just like in the Clinton years. Second these guys aren't terrorists, just misunderstood minorities in need of protection from the big bad Bush man. Someone call the ACLU quick, their rights might be violated!

This line has been added for clarity as a courtesy to the sarcastically impaired. ; ).

It's not clear from the article, but it appears that the guys in Atlanta were caught because authorities were watching the communications of specific individuals whom they had reason to suspect. I'm all for that; it's when we get into mass surveilliance of those not suspected of anything that I get concerned.

actually at this point many of them would be on the side of the terrorist. They would say if these attacks took place;
"Hitting recruiting stations is a military target, these people have ever right to fight the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan anyway they know how, if that is bring the war to our soil then so be it."

Don't expect a liberal to change his views because people he may have known has die over a "war Bush started".

For many libs an attack on our soil would just make them more upset at Bush.
