Hmm... since that tea goes to a museum - and how storable could it be?

The highest-priced tea I have seen offered to sale in the US was $40 an ounce.

But you can get a very drinkable tea for $1-3 an ounce. I fancy a nice single-estate Assam myself, something with body and punch.

Dragon Well... Best tea in China, don'cha know.

Well, that's what they told a friend of mine who visited a few years ago. We drank it for months. It's alright. Must grow on you though because, while good, it didn't exactly knock my socks off.

I have drank a lot of green tea in my lifetime and have never noticed a bitterness to the drink. That could be because I have taken the time to learn how to properly brew tea.
It is easy to top a hundred dollars an ounce for tea on the internet if you are so minded.

A rare kind of green tea was auctioned off in Korea, and sold at a surprising price of W1.3 million (US$13,000).

And the image of Jesus wasn't in the tea leaves? :-)
