At least he supports the war effort which is more than most other Hollywood types would do.
I don't think he means to belittle the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan, or of their families.
But it is true that for the vast majority of Americans, the War in Iraq has not touched them in any kind of personal way. Our soldiers are fighting and dying there, but most Americans have not been inconvenienced one little bit.
