I personally know Hans. He is a fine young man. He leads the College Republicans in one of the most liberal areas in the nation.
University of Washington, Seattle. I bought a pre-press copy of his book. He's a keeper and there are many, many more just like him. America will do all right in the future, I'm positive.

He mustn't forget that human nature is what it is. There will always be teenage rebellion and even adults who push against decent standards.
As for the bigger picture of optimism in a more general sense, it's a pleasant thought but I don't see it myself. He is looking at some specfic outcomes and processes. I suggest he look at premises. Which direction are they moving? Unless you are winning the battle there, you are going to lose the entire war.
