This whole business about what Kerry did or didn't do while in Vietnam was not important to me. What mattered to me was his post-Vietnam activities. I think the post-Vietnam stuff should have been the primary focus of the anti-Kerry vets.

Seems to me if there was all this libel and slander going on that Mr. Kerry would have a heck of a court case against these guys. As I understand it, public figures have a heavy burden in this area. It's very difficult for them to sue for libel or slander. However private citizens called liars by politicians may have a cause for a defamation lawsuit.
