Sounds like 'Big Brother' to me. I don't think Bloomberg has ever had an idea I agreed with.

Newsflash, Sherlock. It's not the legal workers we're concerned about.

If he wants a sample of my DNA, he can show up in person to collect it.

Wearing a blue dress.

the biometric aside - we need a better social security card in this country. one with at least some minimal security behind it. the current social security card is a joke.

The card fits the program....SS is a ponzi scheme and a joke, if you intend to retire on it, a very BAD joke.

that is not the issue here.

your SS number is the basis for employment, banking, credit, a whole host of other things in this country. and it consists of nothing more then some numbers on a blue card, that anyone with a PC and a laser printer can duplicate. its totally useless as a method of authentication.

In just a juste a couple years we will have a national ID card via the Real ID act. It won't be mandatory at first, but without it, you can't do limited functions such as boarding planes or entering certain federal facilities. Mark my words, it will become mandatory in the not too distant future.

"Terrible idea!"

Eventually it will happen, its almost inevitable if we stay on our current course. Our citizens are pretty much asleep at the wheel while government grows out of control at the will of the political class continually building their power base.

Where have all of the smaller government conservatives gone?
