Malvo calls Muhammad a 'coward'
Washington Times ^ | 5-24-06 | Jon Ward

Lee Boyd Malvo, testifying in a Rockville courtroom yesterday, called his former mentor and convicted sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad a "coward" and said he is offering his side of the 2002 attacks "for the victims, for what it's worth, if anything." "I am not proud of myself, and I'm just trying to make amends, if possible," said Malvo, 21, at the end of a dramatic day in the trial of Muhammad, who faces the death penalty in six fatal Montgomery County sniper attacks -- part of a three-week shooting spree that killed 10 persons in the Washington area.

Malvo also testified about Muhammad's plans to escalate their terrorism. He said the sniper wanted to detonate bombs on school buses in Baltimore, shoot a Baltimore police officer and plant explosives at the funeral to kill as many police officers as possible.

More peace and tolerance from the peace and tolerance followers...

This youth is facing life in prison and I am grateful that he has already repented and seen the light. All the more reason why Christians should recognize the importance of prison ministries. Islam is now the fastest-growing religion inside the prison, with predictable results when short-timers get back on the streets.

I doubt this. This punk that pumped sniper rounds into innocent men and women from long range calls his 'mentor' a coward. I doesn't matter to me what he has seen or hasn't. They should both be executed.

I was in Maryland when this was happening. I was dozing on the couch with FOX on, and they broke in and said 5 people have been shot in seperate instances in Montgomery County. MC is the home to Maryland's elite liberals. I knew something was up then. I was there for a few days, and the bodies kept piling up. I also remember the WUSA guy saying that it was probably a militia group "similar to the group that Mcviegh was associated with" That is a quote. I knew then it wasnt anything of the sort..

"They should both be executed."

Better yet they should be released into the middle of the desert and told the victims families may be stalking them. Meanwhile, police snipers pick them off seperately at some point.

I doubt this.

What reason would he have to make himself look good now that he has already been sentenced to life without possibility of parole in another state, and faces several more trials as "insurance" against his ever getting out?

They should both be executed.

In this case of a youth who was under the influence of an older man, it was merciful not to execute him. His testimony actually is providing new evidence against Muhammed. I find it interesting. He mightn't have "turned" on him without some sort of conversion experience, since there is nothing to gain.

His motivations since his killing spree and what he has done since mean nothing to me. I think he should have been executed for the acts he committed and what he has said or done since doesn't change that.

I always wondered about the top picture that you posted. Who does the hand belong to that is behind Malvo's right ear?
