I am pretty disappointed in many thing the Texas government has done, but second to LA I think is a bit over the top.

I mean how would you like Washington or California's tax loads, (even though Texas' is higher than I'd like)? Let's see how about the out of control AG Spitzer and never meet a gun control proposal I didn't like governor in New York?
Hell, there's even that emiment domain wonderland up there in Connecticut, of course that may be coming to a town, city, or state near you. That's five I put ahead of TX in worseness, and that's just off the top of my head.

Texas's tax structure is almost evil it is so bad. We are getting ripped off right and left with the ridiculous real estate taxes and the sales taxes are equally absurd. So what does Perry do? He gets a further tax on businesses. How does that entice business into Texas? Besides, businesses don't pay taxes. We do.

My neighbors are from California and they look at the taxes here and just shake their heads. They will be voting for Kinky. I know a number of people who are otherwise conservative believe it is high time for a change.

If Strayhorn gets out of the race that brings Kinky into striking range of Perry's 41% assuming he picks up her votes. The Democratic candidate will be insignificant as the party here is essentially non-existent.

I went over to Baylor U. and listened to what he has to say and he made some excellent points and was well received by the audience. He will probably have to moderate his apparel somewhat but he is a breath of fresh air. I'm voting for him. We need the change. The alternative is to vote for the status quo which makes absolutely no sense.
