WOW..is she stupid or what?

Katie's lack of knowledge of basic economic principles is stunning. Maybe it isn't her as much as her staff who write the interview questions.
Nevertheless, it boggles my mind.

It's a shame, because we like to think these things are not true, but she gives merit to that old joke;
"A woman's mouth is only good for one thing, and talkin' ain't it!"

It's pretty funny to see Katie trying to show she's, like, SMART, ya know! And she knows a lot about this oil stuff, too! She comes off like someone who didn't understand that morning's talking points, just read them and cackled "I've got him NOW!"
This reminded me of Lesley Stahl when she confronted, I think, Colin Powell: "But the supply lines are cut off! The lines are exposed!" She looked like she had NO idea what she was talking about.
This article does a good job of exposing her shallowness, but I found this line really grating:
"We have six million people a day who come through our stations" and claimed "we care about every one of them."
Uh, no, you don't. But that's okay.

Jim Kramer was right on the money the other day on Meet the Depressed when he said the Exxon CEO was worth more and deserved his paycheck vs. Katie and her soon to be former job at NBC. Russert look like he had just been whacked on the head after Kramer said that.

I understand that people will think she is stupid, but above and beyond that, she is brain-washed. That's the media for you and here is a perfect case in point.

Shouldn't no problem for the Gorebot; after all, he did invent gravity.

Katie Couric is Walter Cronkite's replacement.
And that's the way it is.

Thank you. I work hard to create headlines that are as dumb as possible, and am delighted to learn that, at least in your eyes, I have succeeded beyond my wildest expectations.
