I got my new passport today and it expires in 2016. I'm lucky I guess because Algore says that since we'uns didn't buy into the Kyoto BS, our world is going to end in ten years (i.e., 2016). So, I'm lucky, I didn't buy any passport years that won't be used, thanks Algore. Please run again.

LMBO! I wondered if there would be a "manbearpig" reference on the thread. The vidcap is a big bonus. Nice!

Yet since Al Gore was offered the opportunity to facilitate serious debate on the underlying science of global climate change, 4 months and a half have elapsed. What were the details of the offer (who, where)?

The question now is whether the documentary, with the potential to reach millions of people instead of a roomful of listeners at a time, can do the job. The answer is No. At best, this will come across as just one more disaster movie, and people are desensitized to them. I expect this "movie" to flop fast.

I expect this "movie" to flop fast.Mark Bellings, the substitute host for Rush Limbaugh today, nailed it, IMHO. Gore will get an Oscar for best documentary. Instead of a new book or other some such occasion for a media event, Gore has an Oscar winning documentary. The Moveon.org types will swoon.

I heard that the first title of Al's movie was a bit wordy, so they cut it down. It was originally called:
"An Inconvenient Truth: How Science does NOT support the theory of global warming, and how we've gotten past that so far by re-eduating impressionable people with questionable psuedoscience."
Luckily, the ManBearPig hunter was never famous for letting good research ruin policymaking.
