I don't think they'll actually have weapons, wouldn't want to provoke an incident.
We once had alot of Military units doing work on the border. However, in the late 90's on a JTF6 Mission near Brownsville TX some Marines got shot at and responded.
I doubt our politicians will want us acting like the Military on the border. Who knows.
