My (then-)husband and I enlisted together after several years of marriage and no kids. He came down on levy for Germany, and I did this so that I could be stationed in Germany with my him...HOWEVER, there was no WAR in GERMANY at the time!
I SO admire these wonderful kids!!!!!! God Bless them for doing the tough job so that the rest of us can live freely!!!!! I deeply appreciate them!!!!
