I think he made the right choice to wear the Dress Blues and not the cap and gown. Once you are a Marine Dress Blues is your uniform, not a cap and gown. This is someone that will be protecting our country under the Marine Corps values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Commitment to your Country and your Corps. This isn't just some average kid looking to get out of wearing a cap and gown to graduation, It's about someone who is serving for our country and our freedom wearing the uniform most people wish they could wear.
