Now I wonder if alot of us that thought he was a Conservative will now dump on him?
If I could return my copy of the Passion of the Christ to get my money back, I would.
Hollywood just needs to shut up and act, regardless of their politcal leanings.

No one can accuse Gibson of being predictable and doing what is expected of him. Interesting, brilliantly talented man.

Let's watch shall we? I'm not a lock stepper and really don't care what Gibson or the president say. I agree with both of them on some issues and disagree with both of them on others.

Now I wonder if a lot of us that thought he was a Conservative will now dump on him? Mr. Gibson is NO conservative. From the interviews I saw of him before the election, he in no way endorsed George W. Bush. He made a comment of picking the lesser of two evils (paraphrased) but he wouldn't even say which candidate that would be!

If I could return my copy of the Passion of the Christ to get my money back, I would. So all of a sudden it's a bad move or did you just buy it to be supportive of Gibson?

This surprises me some but not totally. Gibson is a very Traditional Catholic. In Traditional I mean Latin mass only and associates with folks that think Vatican II was a tool of the devil. In fact I think in reality that Gibson belongs to one of these schismatics churches that are in opposition to Vatican II etc. Whats interesting is that many in that group are conservative politically in a Pat Buchanan sense. I really don't know why that group tends to go that way or at least have many of that ilk in those churches. I suspect this is where Mel is coming from.

If I could return my copy of the Passion of the Christ to get my money back, I would. Sell it.
Trash it.
Use it as a frisbee or coaster.

If I could return my copy of the Passion of the Christ to get my money back, I would. The movie was good.
Gibson is making the mistake of believing the media. Heck, if I didn't learn the facts, which routinely discredit media reports, by checking the primary sources, I'd probably have a much lower opinion of the President as well. You would think, though, that Gibson would have a healthy skepticism of media reports of someone they want to smear, having experienced it firsthand himself.

Wouldn't it be something if a bunch of us all of sudden started dumping all of our used copies of our DVD on ebay?

I look at actors and movie producers like I do pro athletes. I don't even want to know them personally, it spoils the illusion. If I had a dollar for every athlete and movie star who is great at his profession but is a lousy individual, I could buy a pro football team.
