Uh you better do a little research before you make such a silly statement. Reagan delt with the issue, Kennedy and Congress thwarted it down the road. Now you are watching our President demand amnesty with no enforcement where Reagan Demanded enforcement and compromised on amnesty. What do you think we will get this time around?

No, the numbers were not 10's of millions at that point. There are areas that were relatively free of illegals in the early 90's that are now predominantly Latino, and the gov. isn't issuing visas and work permits fast enough for them all to be "legal".

Peach, do you have daily contact with these folks? Have they talked to you about the Coyote's using Mexican restaurants as stations for providing employment to their clients? Have you had to wait in an emergency room for 6 hours because there was a flood of illegals having their kids runny noses and coughs treated? Have you been involved in an accident with a non-insured, no driver's license illegal? Have you had a family member lose work because an illegal was hired at $5/hr. less for the same job?

It's easy to say there's nothing to worry about if it's not happening to you or you live an insulated existence in upper middle class or higher where you basically buy your way out of having to deal with it. By the way, do you hire, employ any illegals for your business or personal services? So many people do and it clouds their judgement.
