I can agree 100% with him on illegals and many other issues but lately Savage has become a Bush-basher only for the sake of attracting liberals (even though he tends to attack Bush from the right). Savage lost me the day he said: "You wanna go to Iraq and fight that stupid war? Go on then, you moron!"
Sorry, I respect our soldiers more than that.
And tonight he's actually angry that Bush is trying to connect the dots.
I have been a DXer (shortwave radio listener) since I was a teen. Long before Bush became President I always assumed my letters to other nations would be opened and checked and my phone-calls to other countries were monitored. To tell you the truth, from what I've learnt since 911, Im actually disapointed to learn that they haven't done that.

Indiscriminately tracking domestic phone calls (i.e. those with NO international component) is certainly not "connecting the dots". Don't conflate the two programs.
I'm all for the so-called 'Terrorist Surveillance Program', where calls with one end outside of the country and tied to a known terror entity are surveilled without warrants. But, I draw the line when the NSA starts tracking all/most domestic calls with no terror connections whatsoever.

Attract liberals? He goes after liberals with much more fury than he does Bush.

Savage has become a Bush-basher Bush needs bashing IMO, he's doing a terrible job when it comes to ILLEGAL INVASION, if enough of us bash him maybe he'll get the message to do SOMETHING about this INVASION.
