The first thing to cross
my mind in that parking lot:
540 ELECTED MEMBERS OF
CONGRESS ARE IN ON THE
PLOT? How the Hell do
they keep that secret?
You're suggesting that
our officials have created
the biggest Skull and Bones
Society ever! I think SOME
of the guys who got ousted
during the elections over
the past 20 years just might
go public!

I agree with you, it is a very large complex world that we live in and it's not getting any easier to understand.
We still think we can find out everything there is to know by taking in 30 minutes of news everyday just like the previous generation did.
Our elected officials are faced with world changing decisions everyday and sometimes even though the face value of these decisions seems so obvious, there are always underlying issues that have to be taken into consideration.
The fact that our politicians jobs are on the line and held by we the poorly informed people and must kowtow to our over reactive instincts doesn't make for intelligent judgment on the way they vote.
Everyday I pray that they somehow make the right decisions even though I often don't agree with what the results are. So far I am still waking up every morning and am able to live though another day.
It seems to be an overall opinion of history and the public that we lost the Vietnam war. I like to think that maybe we won it by not being forced into WWIII and blowing the world to bits.
