Way too much assuming going on here. Let's get back to debating the merits of what strategy is best, maintaining a majority or teaching a lesson.

In my opinion the best strategy is to strengthen the GOP position in the House and allow the GOP position in the Senate to be weakened by ridding it of a few RINO's.

It wouldn't be neccessary to completely lose the majority in order to send the proper message to the GOP.
