I think this means Ben needs to act like a Republican more than ever or he will go down.

One vote with the Dems on something big and he is toast,

Ben Nelson is actually a lot better than the Republican Senator from Nebraska. He is rock solid on the war on terror and border security, just to name two issues.

That's obvious, but I'd rather have 2 McCain Lites than even one Ben Nelson if it keeps Kennedy/Dodd/Boxer/Kerry et al from cotrolling the Senate.

???

Nebraska doesn't have a Republican Senator, they have Nelson and Hagel.

He is my senator. Although I wasn't too keen on him at first, he HAS taken a good stand (for a democrat) on some important issues. He seemed a little non-committal at first, but I think he was reading the emails to see what his constituents wanted before stating his opinions. That's not all bad, as it says that he listens.

I don't know anything about Ricketts as I live overseas. I guess I need to look into this.
