What kind of an idiot tells a political appointee that they hate the man who appointed them? After all the applications, background checks and red tape. What an imbicile this guy was! He deserved to lose the contract.

Rejecting the application of a moron with horrible interpersonal skills is hardly "cronyism." Well put. BTW, why are the conservative blogs capitulating on this story? Captain's Quarters and Q&A are both calling for Jackson's head. The only blog that's taking the right point of view -- this guy was an idiot who doesn't deserve the government's money if he makes comments like that -- is the reliably excellent Scrutator. I feel like we're not pushing back hard enough here. You know the moonbats will be calling for the guy's head if they aren't already.
