libs will always see a Republican as a "right wing extremist".

when was the last time you heard or read "left wing extremist" or "left-wing radical" or "left winger" in the MSM?

Political correctness was designed to outlaw any descent against the Socialist Revolution. Hate speech laws would have eliminated the oppositions Constitutional right to speak out and defend their own beliefs. "Educational" institutions today are a self contained Socialist environment. The students will be lost when they finally enter the real world. They'll be like fish out of water. It won't be about all about them and what they want anymore. They'll face real differences of opinion, something foreign to them.

So why did McCain join in the censorship party with CFR? He, of all politicians ought to be comfortable being censored.

Two logical fallacies at the base of this article:

1. John McCain is a conservative
2. Ultra-liberal actually would listen to a conservative viewpoint in any case.

Other than that I give the author high marks for grammar and spelling.

Some might not quite use the term "conservative" for Sen. McCain...

Seems to be the fad with the media these days.

Could it be the media's trying to make its favorite Republican palatable to the GOP base, in time for '08?

I never saw him called conservative in 2000.

Sen. McCain likes to be thought of as a maverick, I think. Sometimes I think he does what he does to either get attention; or to get invited onto "Hardball" without regard for actual policy or his fundamental beliefs (whatever they might be)

Gel: He is conservative (sort of) on defense/WOT issues. Otherwise he is strictly an attention-hungry "moderate" Republican

I don't exactly agree with his point of view some issues either, but I have a sneaking suspicion our "presidential" choices in "08" just might be McCain or our former president "The Hill". If given those options McCain's my guy.

"he is 100% on the WOT."

The "war" as we're presently fighting it?
Or, the war as we should be fighting it"

This week, President Bush defined the WOT as World War III.
I hope that means we'll start fighting it as such...

"What in the world would anyone want to hear from McCain?"

I am pretty sure John Boy wants to hear himself.

He is also speaking at Columbia.

He'd take an engagement at Southwest Missouri State or Fort Lewis College if he thought TV cameras would be there
