EU suggests creating fund for aid to Palestinians

JPost.com Staff, THE JERUSALEM POST May. 5, 2006

The EU has suggested to the US, Russia, and the UN that a joint fund be created to give humanitarian aid to the Palestinians that will bypass the Hamas-led government.

The EU prepared a $43 million aid package that would help fund Palestinian health and education services, and suggested that Arab and other countries - including Israel - could provide aid to the Palestinians through the fund, Israel Radio reported.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas would not be able to decide how the fund distributed money, noted the EU's representative for foreign affairs.

Can they add me to that aid recipient list? I wouldn't mind some free money.

WHY?!?!?

Arent there enough poor people in the world?
They ran out of charity cases to such an extent that they have to help people who chose a terrorist government?

NUTS, ABSOLUTELY NUTS.

Read the Shelby Steele article that Rush alluded to a few days back. In Opinion Journal. Explains it all. This is pathetic and stupid White Man's Guilt doing stupid stuff to help those who dont deserve it. Moral stupidity.

I heard Rush give his synopsis of Steel's "White Man's Guilt" and I don't think that is what we are dealing with here at all! Not only is it the wrong direction to go in explaining "WHY" this (Roadmap/Land for Peace Baloney etc) is all being played out the way it is - but going that route will even make things worse, muddy the water, confuse things, add gasoline to it all - very dangerous psych analysis - I think (Like it could get worse).

Globalists don't want nations, borders, individual sovereignty etc. Whether intentional or not, just more slight of hand, and using latest pop psych as a distraction while they get the deed done.

Just another oil-for-food scam in a different format.

A mess of bureaucrats will get rich and the palis will still be west hating, poor, and otherwise useless.

Considering they're displaced Jordanians (not palestinians, palestinians don't exist), why doesn't Jordan pay for them?

The idiocy of the Eurosocialist liberals knows NO bounds!

There is no way you will bypass Hamas. The money will get to them by a variety of channels-donation, extraction, protection rackets, skimming, etc, etc.

Let these stubborn people stew in their own poverty for a while and pretty soon there will be the inevitable civil war and maybe, just maybe some more pragmatic elements will emerge who are genuinely interested in a real peace with Israel.

Palestinians do exist. It is another word for Arabs. People who cannot even feed themselves have no right to claim charity from those who do.

Look for the reason that millions of people are not able to produce enough food to feed themselves. It's because they have not advanced beyond the pottery stage.

Survival is based on intelligence. Ask why it is that people will stand around idle until they fall over dead of starvation rather than scratch a living out of the soil they are soiling?

The best way to combat terrorism is to stop feeding them and they will die off.

Palestinians actually do NOT exist. As I stated, they are "misplaced" jordanians. I work with one that is a US citizen, his most compelling statement to me was this " you americans have no idea how vile the arabs are, they are animals". This guy was tied to a tree and beaten with a chain because he was christian.

In the words of King Fahd: "The only people I hate more than the 'palestinians' are the jews". Oh that arab love.

Forget it. Let the Arab countries spend some of their oil profits to "help out" their Palestinian brethren.
