Why are Senators Boxer and Feinstein and so many others we trust supporting Phil Angelides for governor?
HEALTH CARE WORKER: "Phil Angelides was the one we could count on to stand up to Schwarzenegger."

Our police and firefighters.
And the Sierra Club.
ENVIRONMENTALIST: "Join Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein and all of us in supporting Phil Angelides for governor."

Angelides, Westly Unveil Campaign Ads
http://www.news10.net/storyfull2.aspx?storyid=17349
"Angelides' daughters appear in his ad. O'Connor says the daughters help soften his hard edges. "He often comes across as harsh and so having surrogates may be the best way for him to go in terms of creating a positive buzz about him as a candidate," she says.
The Westly campaign is positioning its candidate as an environmentalist. His ad uses personal pictures and photographs of the natural beauty of California to make that distinction."
There is a HUGE difference between Arnold and the Dems.
Here is just one small one:
Democrats wrong to oppose leader of energy commission (appointed by Schwarzenegger)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1627086/posts
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's pick to chair the California Energy Commission is about to find himself out of a job. Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata has said he will not hold a confirmation hearing for Joe Desmond, who has served in that role for a year. Without confirmation, Desmond will be forced to step down by next week.
Desmond drew the ire of Democrats and environmentalists on a number of fronts. He has pushed for the multibillion-dollar Frontier Line, a transmission system currently being studied that would connect California with Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. The Schwarzenegger administration sees the line as necessary to meet the state's growing energy needs.
But Democrats oppose it because they fear it will lead to construction of new coal-fired power plants in other states, increasing pollution and emissions of heat-trapping gases that contribute to global warming.

so no one can tell he looks like Yertle the Turtle.
Everytime I hear that "so many others we trust" line in the commercial I want to shout at my TV: "What's this WE crap?!"
Phil Angelides is, like Hugo Chavez and the left-wing presidents of Uruguay and Brazil, a symbol of the recent rise of socialism and neo-communism in the Americas (or sould I say in Latin America).
I sometimes wonder if his campaign isn't secretly funded by developers in AZ, NV and ID. Because if Phil is elected California is going to like East Berlin 1989. I just wonder if Phil's response would be to:
1) Denounce the expatriates as "worms" and then open up California prisons and ship the convicts to neighboring states.
2) Encourage Californians to move out of state and then tell then to send the money they make back home.
Most likely Phil will ignore California's loss of jobs and population to other states, just as that issue is being completely ignored in this campaign. (These idiots would rather talk about global warming, price gouging, and other irrelevant nonsense.)
