National anti-immigration groups warned politicians yesterday that Tuesday's election in Herndon was the beginning of a voter backlash against local and federal immigration policy.
"Politicians across the country should take note of the results of this election," said Chris Simcox, president of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, an organization that patrols the U.S.-Mexico border. There they go again - ILLEGAL immigration opponents. Not "immigration" opponents.
Don't kid yourself, Francisco. That's not fear you see.
"The marches made it worse," said Francisco Bacila, 35, a Herndon resident for five years. "There is more fear in the North Americans because they know we are here."Hey, Frankie -- A tip for you, don't mistake anger for fear. They're very different.
Precisely!
Fear is not the correct adjective.

Well .. Rush was talking today about some articles showing the media has finally figured out THE PUBLIC knows the difference between "illegal" and "legal" immigration. It was an amazing thing to these media people.
Also .. the public has awakened to the real purpose of the protests - Mexico wants their property back - doesn't matter that we won a war for the land - and then paid them $15 million for the land.
So .. I hope our repubs in congress are paying attention to what happened in Herndon - because I believe it's going to happen in congress. It's time for us to get the letters, faxes and emails going. Let them be bombarded with information so they HAVE NO EXCUSE.
If illegal aliens can lose in a cesspool like Herndon, if are seeing the backlash I knew we would.
