bump for later when I am not at work and can watch from the comfort of my home with all the lights out and the sound turned low enough so the neighbors won't think I'm jammin'. Baby.

Kirk Van Houten--"Can I Borrow A Feeling?"

This Hasselhoff thing is just as bad, if not worse.

Sorry. That video does set a new bar for "Cheesy", but doesn't have the gag-factor levels of Hasselhoff

And I say that advisedly, being fully cognizant of the horror that is David Hasselhoff's "Hooked on a Feeling."

But this one might just top it.

Actually, Mr. T has them both beat!

My favorite all-time bad video is "Bilbo Baggins" by Spock.

Yep, that's one sure is putrid. Have you seen the clip of Shatner on the old Dinah Shore show, "singing" Harry Chapin's "Taxi". Oooh, it's horrid. Search on MSN under Videos - it's there. Just remember, you've been duly warned.

You've got to appreciate Shatner, if only for the fact that he makes the old "laughing with/laughing at" question seem quaint and obsolete.

I dont know. I'm sure something was lost in the translation. It's very hard to judge these things in English. I need to see the "original" version in Finnish or Klingon.

Maybe it was supposed to be bad on purpose...?

I dunno. My Norwegian friend shows me clips from some European song contest they have every year. Good googamooga. Everything seems very dated and poorly executed.

Check out http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/eurovision/2005/contestants/index.shtml and click on the video from Norway. Whoa!

This little couple was making a video in the 80s. It was all new to them. Hasselhoff was making 80s quality videos in 2002. There's just NO excuse for that.

That said, it's actually more fun to watch than about 99.78% of anything on MTV or VH1 these days.

I had the weirdest sense of dejá vu listening to this song. I'm sure I heard it before. But not sung in English.

I think I heard it while I was riding an Israeli bus. It would explain why so many people blow themselves up on buses.
