"Rick has always run from behind,IIRC, my guess is he'll be just fine."

I think he's in real trouble.

Casey has name recognition (Bob senior was a popular pro-life Dem governor) and little else known about him--and the Dems want to keep it that way, while waging a major smear campaign against Santorum.

I don't think I've seen a car yet with a Casey sticker on it that the other end of the bumper didn't have something negative in true Democratic tradition such as "Sanitize the Senate. Remove Santorum"

As usual, facts are irrelevant to Democrats. Perception is everything, and they are putting top priority on this race, as they always turn their biggest guns on any Republican they see as a threat as an effective leader.

And of course the Republicans traditionally manage to allow them to prevail.

This mid-term election, given that a Dem Congressional majority will mean certain nonstop impeachment hearings that will cause our economy to tank and result in Dems winning the White House in 2008, can arguably be said to be the most important in U.S. history.

It will mean the liberals will be able to complete the destruction of this nation as it was originally founded and clear the way for outside forces to prevail, since they can't govern without the free enterprise they hate providing the tax dollars for them to buy votes with.

This nation will be an unrecognizable third world hodgepodge not unlike some of the savage Islamic nations in a mere 20 years.
