I don't remember reading about homosexual adoption in the Bible. Then again, you may not be a Jew/Christian and you could be refering to another text. Please cite your source.
Maybe he was referring to this:
And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

There's not a word in the Bible about drunk driving, or shooting one's wife with a gun, or dropping nuclear bombs on civilians, so I guess those things are all morally okay.
