He figured since Fox was successful
in spreading distortions and lies
He, too, would climb on his soapbox
and counter with words to the wise.

That bastion of progressive views
to rescue all oppressed citizens
from Bush and his power abuse.
"The war in Iraq is illegal"
"Islam is a religion of peace."
Al Franken now took to the airways
in hopes his support would increase.
