Call RNC to voice your opinion about Immigration enforcement.

Just call RNC. Asked why the Republican Senators and President were ignoring the base regarding the immigration law enforcement.

Call 202-863-8500 (choose CONSTITUENT SERVICES). The gentleman asked me questions and chatted with me for a couple of minutes. Sounded like he was taking notes.

I told him if something wasn't done by the Republicans to secure our borders and at least attempt to return the illegals, I will be switching to the Constitution Party.

Let us show them the price they will be paying ...

Unfortunately you just lost any credibility you might have had around here. You see around these parts you are either a Bush/RNC rah rah cheerleader or you might as well be a communist.

Yep, I know what you mean. The Republican Party needs to know that they will suffer in many ways if they don't start listening to the voters that elected them.

I didn't say I'd necessarily vote with the C.P., but I will switch parties.

I know this site can be pretty nasty to anyone who says anything critical about Bush/RNC. Too bad. I'm right and I know it.

Just called... spoke with a very nice gentlemean... who remained absolutely non-committal on the issue. I told him that for my entire adult life, I have supported the Republican party with donations of both my time and money, but that they had been letting us down for nearly six years. Given the lack of both activity or courage on issues like tax reform, border security, trade with China, Social Security and our petroleum self-sufficiency, I would no longer be supporting any republican candidates unless things changed drastically.

If the reps that I helped put in office stated acting less like politicians and more like leaders, conservative ones at that, many of the problems this country faces would be eliminated.

Call RNC? Waste of time. They haven't listened on the issue to this point. The president has not listen. They are not going to listen.

I'm going down trying to get them to see. I understand and feel the same frustration, believe me.

I understand. But it is hard to get the blind to see and on this issue President Bush is blind as a bat, as is his followers in D.C. This is fighting a losing battle. Bush is NOT going to do a darn thing about it. He does not want to make the Hispanic community mad. Pure and simple.

First time posting, though I've lurked for the better part of the past 2 years...

I got a call from the RNC this past week-end asking for (more) money. Told the woman on the other end of the phone "I will not be giving you people one more red cent until the mess at the border is fixed." She didn't sound all that surprised, and said she'd "register my distress." She also asked if they could call me in the future. I said yes, but to expect the same answer if nothing has changed, or has changed for the worse.

Also got a reply from one of my Senators (Sununu) to an e-mail I wrote. I don't have it here, but he said that the immigration system was in need of a "complete overhaul," that he supported more border agents (don't know off-hand if he said he supported a wall, so I don't want to mis-quote him, but he did say something about state-of-the-art surveillance), stricter enforcement, and no amnesty. All in all I was pleasantly surprised that he said all the right things. I'll just have to see how he actually votes.

Hope they know that if you go to the polls to elect a Republican who is a Democrat it is the same as staying at home on election day and letting a Democrat get elected.

The hispanic community votes OVERWHELMINGLY in favor of the democrat party... and those who vote conservative, will still vote for conservatives who want to enforce the border.

I've had the very same phone call and gave the same response. Last week I received a letter from the RNC that was signed by John McCain and on McCain's letterhead. I responded by stuffing the return envelope with the fake Peso note from my previous post.

I just sent a missive to the RNC telling them not to solicit me for contributions but to solicit all the illegal immigrants.

"register my distress."

What an appropriate phrase!

I have been meaning to ask my representative if he can get me a flag that has flown over the White House, as these are available to the public, but I want mine to have been flown upside down.

I agree with you. I have contributed in the past and I got a call from the RNC about a month ago, and I told them to call back after the administration had secured the border.

I completely reject the idea of "earned citizenship" for people whose first act was to break into the country. If a Republican administration (House, Senate, President) enacts such an amnesty, I will never contribute again.

As for voting, I will (generally)continue to vote Republican - which means voting against the Dims. There are, however, some RINO-Republicans for whom I don't think I could bring myself ever to vote. A McCain versus Hillary contest would really put me to the test.
