More Aides Subpoenaed in McKinney Case Apr 25 7:10 PM US/Eastern Email this story

WASHINGTON
More House aides have been served with subpoenas to testify in the grand jury investigation of an incident last month where Rep. Cynthia McKinney hit a Capitol Police officer.
Staffers from four congressional offices, in statements read on the House floor Tuesday, announced they would comply with subpoenas issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
The offices of Reps. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., and Barbara Lee, D-Calif., confirmed that the subpoenas were related to the March 29 incident where McKinney, a Georgia Democrat, entered a Capitol building unrecognized by the officer on duty and then hit him when he tried to stop her.
Those receiving the subpoenas are thought to have been witnesses to the altercation.
The other two subpoenas went to aides to Reps. Lois Capps, D-Calif., and Donald Payne, D-N.J. Capps' office would not comment on the purpose of the subpoena and there was no immediate response from Payne's office.

What's wrong is that if a regular everyday American citizen like me were to do any of those things i'd be thrown in jail and have big big trouble for a long long time.
It is a snap shot of what is wrong with America.
Hope this means they will charge her soon.
Perhaps McKinney should go to the grand jury investigating the case, and tell them: "Anything that is discovered by your grand jury, that is discovered while I'm not seated in this chair, is off the record and is not permissible to be used. Is that understood?"

Maybe not. (1) They would not perjure themselves for the nutjob and (2) The RATs would probably be happy to be rid of her. I know Pelosi would. They don't even acknowledge each other in the hallways ('cuz Nancy wouldn't reinstate McKinney's seniority). Time will tell....
I had wondered what her seniority status was, but not enough to dig around and figure it out.
