To: Reagan Man

Republicans have squandered the best chance they could have been given to lead, quite possibly for decades. If the current "Republican" party hasn't figured out how to lead by now I think they may need another couple of years back on the bench to think about it.

Maybe republican voters had better think about the damage that ted kennedy, John McCain, Nancy Pelosi, and Dick Durbin types could do to this country in an average term: Out of sight taxes, WOT surrender and appeasment, $8/gal gasoline, unlimited illegal invasion, gutting of the military thus inviting attack from more enemies, etc., etc.,

This is so true. I believe that there were many liberals out there who were open to conversion but they didn't have the guts to do it without strong leadership. I'm talking about people who have conservative tendencies, but wouldn't have the guts to stand up and admit it against "judgmental" liberals unless Bush and Congressional GOP's did.
