Israel voices concerns over Iran-(most serious threat since Holocaust)

Israeli defence minister Shaul Mofaz says the nuclear programme being pursued by Iran is the most serious threat faced by Jews since the Nazi Holocaust.

Iran says it seeks nuclear energy, not bombs, but calls by its President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for the elimination of Israel have stoked tensions.

Israel has backed United States-led efforts to curb Iran's nuclear programme through possible sanctions.

Mofaz told a conference on Iran at Tel Aviv University that the world must not wait, it must do everything necessary to stop Iran's nuclear activity.

Israel, like the United States, has not ruled out military action but says it prefers to see diplomacy run its course.

There's no problem, then. According to Iran's prez, the Holocaust is a myth....so the threat attributed to their nuclear program must be, as well.

In today's world with the internet you know about the world's problems and can see them develope. When I was a kid you didn't get to know about things until they happened. i.e. Pearl Haarbor, and the Atomic bombing of Japan.

Today you can see the train wrecks developing before they happen. - tom
