Why is Washington shy at actually doing something to protect the minorities in Kosovo?

Why is that Washington's responsibility?? Why don't the Kosovans do something about that themselves if this is such a burning issue?

Why is that Washington's responsibility?? Why don't the Kosovans do something about that themselves if this is such a burning issue?

1. Washington intervened militarily on the side of the Muslims in 1999. Quite willingly, I might add. If Washington saw it fit to intervene on behalf of the Muslims, why not reign them in now and help the Christians?

2. Today's Kosovo is a Muslim-run apartheid hellhole. "Kosovans" do not exist. You have the Albanians (Muslims) on the one hand, and the Serbs & minorities (Christians & Jews) on the other. Muslim terror has gone on uninterrupted since the summer of 1999, culminating in March '04 when scores of churches and monasteries were "spontaneously" burnt to the ground and 1000s of non-Muslims (mostly innocent Serbian civilians) forced to run for their lives.
