Of course, the body count and casualty totals. What else is there? What better yardstick by which to evaluate -- no, excuse me -- what better pedestal, upon which to elevate and uplift the moral compass?

It may not have quite measured up to the immortal triumph of General Lothar Von Trotha, in the glorious victory over the indigenous African tribesmen:
