REMINDER OF DATE CHANGES: Sunday, April 23 Secure Our Border Rally has been changed to MONDAY, APRIL 24 to join 9/11 Families for a Secure America. CLICK FOR REVISED INFO

Friday, April 28 Fred Phelps Counter Rally has been moved to Phelps' new time on SATURDAY, APRIL 29, 10:30 AM TIL 11:30 AM, still at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.

*****************************************************

Week 16 is a little later than I preferred, but Easter and work delayed our free time.

Week 16 was finally warm, but too windy for out banner. The FReep started out with only a slight breeze, but got real windy as time went by. It's a good thing I listened to [Mrs] Trooprally or I would have had to take it down early.

We were extremely out numbered this week by the fair weather GRUMPIES, 4 to 16. But even with the warm weather, the grumpy moonbats left right on time, 4:15 PM. We stayed till our time 4:30. Even while we were breaking down the flags, we still received several honks.

Roll call included Cindy_True_Supporter, Lurker Bill, [Mrs] Trooprall and myself.

Below: TOP: Cindy_True_Supporter and [Mr] Trooprally. BOTTOM: Lurker Bill once again holding down the "western front". I think he comes back at night and 'marks' his territory because no other FReeper takes up his position.

All pics were by [Mrs] Trooprally.

Apparently FRee Republic is known by those in Olney.

One passerby came over to us and shook our hand and Thanked us for being out there. I asked him to join us but he declined. He said that he wouldn't last five minutes before he would go across the street and do something he might later regret. He then went into a lengthy diatribe about how the Quakers have been so anti-American since WWII. I told him about FR and he said he knew of us.

The other person was a FR member. She had stopped at the light and yelled her support to us. I yelled back to join us and that she should check out FR. She said that she was a member, but the light had turned green and she drove on before I could get her FReeper name.

With the warm weather the windows are down. We got some nasty cat calls and thumbs down from passing cars, but the calls of support from other open windows far out numbered the others. I don't understand how people can object to our messages. L. Bill's sign says "God Bless our Troops". And we don't politicize our messages. Maybe that is why they are called "moonbats".

BELOW: Early grumpies. The grumpy in the bright red blouse on the right goes to the same doctor as [Mrs] Trooprally. She finally recognized [Mrs] T one day and scoured at her.

BELOW: Doesn't the grumpy on the left look excited about being there? And there is "Peek-A-Boo", second from left, hiding behind her signs.

BELOW: "Peek-A-Boo", we see you!!!!

BELOW: Ten grumpies all in a row. The new bright yellow sign says "Incompetence Kills".

BELOW: "Barkman" is once again one of the last ones to leave. Oh yea, he started to wave at us again today. I wish he would make up his mind, whether to wave or bark at us. Maybe he needs his name changed to "Barking Waveman". "Peek-A-Boo" is off to the left outside the pic.

Hey...better late than never! ;*)

Nice job! I like the "Warrior" message on the school sign.

diatribe about how the Quakers have been so anti-American since WWII

I think it depends on what Quaker church or council or whatever, you go to. Much like the Phelps cult is not really Baptist.

Go ahead, rub it in!!! Its even "early" there when we post a "late" thread here on the "RIGHT" coast.

Did you see that - Did you read that - "RIGHT" coast - at least we are not on the "left" coast and can be happy about something.

:-))

I see you are still up though.

Yea, the messages can be sometimes funny with the moonbats in front of it. Wait till early August when the National Night Out banner is up. That will bring the moonbats out of their caves. Just think, a national night out just for them.

I think it depends on what Quaker church or council or whatever, you go to.

For instance, Quaker Scott Savage recommended conservative books to freshman at a college, causing an uproar.

In other news, Marine Gunnery Seargent Fred Fraidycat received the Medal of Honor for extreme bravery! /kidding

Nat'l. Night Out, always first Tuesday in August, is a nationwide event of crime awareness, but all week is dedicated to crime awareness. It is part of the old "put your porch lights on, sit on your porch, and get to know your neighbors". About 10000 communities across the U.S. and over 34 million people who participate according to the flyer from the organization.
