Hoover police arrest one of Texas’ 10 most wanted

Hoover police said today a man they arrested Tuesday for drug offenses and an outstanding warrant is one of the 10 most wanted fugitives in Texas.

Police found Pablo Hinojosa Longoria, 32, of Bessemer in a van in the parking lot of the River Oaks Village shopping center in Hoover about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, Assistant Police Chief A.C. Roper said.

Police saw open beer bottles and a small amount of marijuana in the van and discovered Longoria had an outstanding felony warrant from Austin, Texas, Roper said.

Further investigation revealed Longoria was on the Texas Ten Most Wanted Violent Offenders list.

He has at least one outstanding murder charge and is a suspect in several other murder cases along the Texas/Mexico border, Roper said.

Longoria was in the Hoover Jail today.

The Texas Syndicate -

A mostly Texas-based prison gang that includes mostly hispanic members, but does allow caucasian and black members.

The Texas Syndicate, more than La Eme or Nuestra Familia, has been more associated or allied with mexican immigrant prisoners, such as the "Border Brothers",
while Eme and Familia tend to be composed of and associate with US-born or raised hispanics.

Looks like someone tapped him on his noggin above the left eye. They are lucky that he did not kill one of them, because these guys seldom travel alone.

I think that photo is an older one, it's from the Texas most wantd site.

The area where he was arrested is a busy shopping center. I am so happy no one was hurt.

Nationally, 25% of the people in our prisons are illegal aliens. And in LA county, 95% of outstanding murder warrants are for illegal alien perps.

Do you suppose he regrets getting that big, blazing tattoo on his neck? You know--the one that screams "Arrest Me!"...?

This area of Hoover is ground zero of illegal Mexicans around here. The place is swarming with them!!!

From that mug shot it looks like old Roy D. Mercer got ahold of him and put a pop-knot on top of his head.

Seems to me like I heard about them making another good-sized bust a week or so ago.

Hoover is not some place out in the woods (this ain't Mayberry), it's a suburb of Birmingham and thus is subject to the crime spill-over from the city. They have their work cut out for them and it looks like they are definitely up to the task.

Maybe this will get some people's attention in Hoover.

Oh, I forgot ... the guy's just trying to make a better life for his family.

Bet I know what Russ and Dee will be chatting about on their Birmingham morning show tomorrow.

With all the illegal aliens pouring across our borders, it's very easy for these guys to blend in with the crowd and find a neighborhood to take over as their 'turf'.

Hoover, Alabama ping. This is near where we live. Property values have plumeted, people are afraid to use the parks at night, lots of burglaries and armed robberies there also.

Hoover was formerly considered a very safe place.

"Doesn't look White Male to me!"

For the purposes of crime statistics the FBI used to (maybe they still do) log all Hispanics as White.
