I think ICE has more manpower and is spending more money now than they were in the 90's. Why can't we have dozens of enforcement actions every day?

It would be so easy to form small teams and do raids all over the country at construction sites and restaurants etc but they're not going to do that because it'll work. Having one major bust a year gives them the type of political theater that looks good in the media but does absolutely nothing to solve the problem.

Bingo.

The goal is not to solve the "problem". The goal is to placate "the masses", because to "the powers that be" (the Robber Baron employers and Our Glorious Leaders in government), it's NOT "a problem" -- the criminal aliens are an asset

WE, on the other hand -- We The People -- are a nuisance. So, we have to be placated.

I propose naming the Criminal Alien Entitlemant Act (the actual meaning of the "reform" proposal) to, the "Throw the Dog a Bone Act."
