I would say no, and not just because I live here. That would not help property values around here.
I too am a NM resident but I think nothing could harm NM property values right now as they have gone through the roof in recent years. I also own property in west Texas so I would suggest we give the Texas Panhandle to Mexico. It could only increase its property values.
