WASHINGTON -- In an interview taped Thursday for CNN's ''Larry King Live,'' Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said he twice submitted his resignation to President Bush during the height of the Abu Ghraib publicity last spring.
He said he wanted Bush to make the decision on whether he should stay on, at a time when some Democrats in Congress were calling for his resignation.
Rumsfeld also said Thursday he may skip a security conference in Germany next week because of a lawsuit filed there by a New York-based group accusing him of war crimes involving Iraqi prison abuses.
The lawsuit was filed in Germany because its laws allow for the prosecution of war crimes across national boundaries. AP
Yet, the MSM continues to show selective amnesia in reporting news on Rumsfeld.
Rumsfeld has offered his resignation twice. The President has said no twice.
How can news organizations report to inflated anger of 6 of the 5,000 plus retired generals without mentioning these facts?
Answer: The MSM cares nothing about facts and is invested in America's failure in the War on Terror.
