Is it better that they are waving American flags instead of Mexican? Yeah probably. But the point I got out of the demonstrators was, "My God, look at how ineffectual our government is at one of it's most important duties of protecting our borders."

The organizers learned a bitter lesson from the first demonstration. The backlash made them counter-productive as Americans saw Mexican flags and saw people who didn't like the United States. The last few days' demonstration represent the miggest coup of propaganda as the organizers got hundreds of thousands of people to not do and show what's in their hearts and instead wave an American flag that they don't believe in. The reason I can say this is that the first set of demonstrations were more instantaneous and people were much more likely then to show what they were thinking. The overwhelming thought that came out was: we own this part of this country because it used to be part of Mexico.
the flag waving is all a lie. don't you get it? they caught on. Pretend to be american but they're not! They are liars and their allegiance is still to Mexico.
People say it is too expensive to round them up and ship them home. HA! bring in our military, surround them at these outings and you will catch over a million of them at one time. Boot them out. Drop them into Mexico and put guns on our border. Cap a few and see how many more come back.
Or, we can invade Mexico and make it part of the US. We'll have mucho oil and natural resources.
The point I got out of the demonstrators was...American citizens are not willing to get out in the street and counter-demonstrate in even greater numbers.
