Stunning facts about the proposed immigration bill

SENATOR SESSIONS ON SECURING AMERICA'S BORDERS ACT

Mr. President, I thank Senator Leahy, ranking member on the Judiciary Committee.

I have received just this afternoon in my office some disturbing news in the form of correspondence from the Congressional Budget Office. It suggests a number of areas where the amendment we are talking about here today, No. 3424, the immigration so-called compromise, violates our budget and the rules of the Senate.

Let me read from the correspondence we have received. This is something, as you know, Mr. President, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, that we never discussed at all. It is not a matter we spent any time at all discussing as we moved forward with legislation which ultimately cleared that committee and came to the floor — legislation which I thought was not good legislation and which I opposed, and so did the Senator from Texas, who just relinquished the Chair. We didn't discuss the financial impact of the legislation before us.

Stand Up For America !

"We have room for but one flag, the American flag...
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...
And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

WHISTLEBLOWER MAGAZINE
'Secrets of the Invasion'
Why America's government invites rampant illegal immigration

Posted: May 1, 2006

It's widely regarded as America's biggest problem: Between 12 and 20 million aliens – including large numbers of criminals, gang members and even terrorists – have entered this nation illegally, with countless more streaming across our scandalously unguarded borders daily.

The issue polarizes the nation, robs citizens of jobs, bleeds taxpayers, threatens America's national security and dangerously balkanizes the country into unassimilated ethnic groups with little loyalty or love for America's founding values. Indeed, the de facto invasion is rapidly transforming America into a totally different country than the one past generations have known and loved.

And yet – most Americans have almost no idea what is really going on, or why it is happening.

While news reports depict demonstrations and debates, and while politicians promise "comprehensive border security programs," no real answers ever seem to emerge.

But there are answers. Truthful answers. Shocking answers.

In its groundbreaking May edition, WND's acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine reveals the astounding hidden agendas, plans and people behind America's immigration nightmare.

Titled "ALIEN NATION," the issue is subtitled "SECRETS OF THE INVASION: Why government invites rampant illegal immigration." Indeed, it reveals pivotal secrets very few Americans know. For example:

Did you know that the powerfully influential Council on Foreign Relations – often described as a “shadow government" – issued a comprehensive report last year laying out a five-year plan for the "establishment by 2010 of a North American economic and security community" with a common "outer security perimeter"?
Roughly translated: In the next few years, according to the 59-page report titled "Building a North American Community," the U.S. must be integrated with the socialism, corruption, poverty and population of Mexico and Canada. "Common perimeter" means wide-open U.S. borders between the U.S., Mexico and Canada. As Phyllis Schlafly reveals in this issue of Whistleblower: "This CFR document asserts that President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin 'committed their governments' to this goal when they met at Bush's ranch and at Waco, Texas, on March 23, 2005. The three adopted the 'Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America' and assigned 'working groups' to fill in the details. It was at this same meeting, grandly called the North American Summit, that President Bush pinned the epithet 'vigilantes' on the volunteers guarding our border in Arizona."

The CFR report – important excerpts of which are published in Whistleblower – also suggests North American elitists begin getting together regularly, and presumably secretly, "to buttress North American relationships, along the lines of the Bilderberg or Wehrkunde conferences, organized to support transatlantic relations." The Bilderberg and Wehrkunde conferences are highly secret conclaves of the powerful. For decades, there have been suspicions that such meetings were used for plotting the course of world events and especially the centralization of global decision-making.

Did you know that radical immigrant groups – including the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA) and the National Council of La Raza (La Raza) – not only share a revolutionary agenda of conquering America's southwest, but they also share common funding sources, notably the Ford and Rockefeller foundations?
''California is going to be a Hispanic state," said Mario Obeldo, former head of MALDEF. "Anyone who does not like it should leave." And MEChA's goal is even more radical: an independent ''Aztlan,'' the collective name this organization gives to the seven states of the U.S. Southwest – Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah. So why would the Rockefeller and Ford foundations support such groups? Joseph Farah tells the story in this issue of Whistleblower.

Why have America's politicians – of both major parties – allowed the illegal alien invasion of this nation to continue for the last 30 years unabated? With al-Qaida and allied terrorists promising to annihilate major U.S. cities with nuclear weapons, with some big-city hospital emergency rooms near closure due to the crush of so many illegals, with the rapid spread throughout the U.S. of MS-13, the super-violent illegal alien gang – with all this and more, why do U.S. officials choose to ignore the laws of the land and the will of the people to pursue, instead, policies of open borders and lax immigration enforcement?

The answers to all this and much more are in Whistleblower's "ALIEN NATION" issue.

Is there hope? Or is America lost to a demographic invasion destined to annihilate its traditional Judeo-Christian culture, and to the ever-growing likelihood that nuclear-armed jihadists will cross our porous borders and wreak unthinkable destruction here?

What?!?

Welcome Aboard, Senator Clinton and Chairman Dean

Dear Friend,

Immigration is a big topic this week. And guess which unlikely duo has come around to the American people's view that our borders are out of control? In the past couple weeks, both Senator Hillary Clinton and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean have called for increased border security. We welcome their voices of support to the effort to protect our nation's security. Now let's see if their actions match their rhetoric.

Republicans in Congress should take this opportunity to act. The House should immediately pass a new stand-alone bill that focuses exclusively on controlling our borders. Then the Senate should, with the support of Senator Clinton and Chairman Dean, welcome the chance to make the House bill law for the American people. Will they seize that opportunity?

America needs border control now. So we extend a hand of welcome to Senator Clinton and Chairman Dean. For us, border control isn't a question of politics but of national security. We look forward to knowing which Senator Clinton and Chairman Dean will put first.

Our National Anthem Should Be Sung in English. Period.

The release of a Spanish version of the National Anthem last week gives Congress an opportunity to affirm one of America's great strengths -- and gives needed direction to the current debate about immigration. We welcome immigrants from across the world. But once they're here, they must learn to speak English and embrace the values that make us Americans.

In June, the same group that released this Spanish version of the National Anthem will release another version. Far from being a Spanish translation of "The Star Spangled Banner," this version contains lyrics that mock and condemn our laws against illegal immigration. Here's just a sampling:

These kids have no parents, cause of all the mean laws Let's not start a war with all these hard workers They can't help where they were born Congress should act now -- this week -- to reaffirm that our national anthem is "The Star Spangled Banner" and that it should be sung in English. Period.

Black Activists Say Immigration Shortcuts Not a Civil Right Issue

Rep. Tom Tancredo: Boycott is a Bust - Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., a longtime opponent of illegal immigration, says the May 1 Latino worker boycott is "a bust” when it comes to changing public opinion in America. Tancredo, appearing on Fox News Channel, said the waving of Mexican flags, the chanting of "Today We March, Tomorrow We Vote,” and the in-your-face flaunting of U.S. immigration law will not win many converts outside of large Latino strongholds. "When the average American looks out on the streets and sees people demanding ‘rights’ ... even though the protesters illegally snuck into our country, it doesn’t play well in Peoria,” Tancredo said. "I don’t think it’s working in favor of the illegals, but I hope they keep it up.”

Their Version: The song takes liberties with Francis Scott Key's original words. For instance, an English translation of parts of the second verse of "Nuestro Himno" reads:

"The time has come to break the chains. Throughout the night they proclaimed, 'We will defend it!' Tell me! Does its starry beauty still wave Above the land of the free, The sacred flag?"

Ominous and Threatening IMHO!

Major groups of local Latinos oppose boycott -But in Northeast Ohio, major Latino groups are presenting a united front. They oppose the controversial strategy and are angry that some groups are encouraging children to skip school. The region will see some demonstrations and forums on what's being billed as "A Day Without Immigrants." Some businesses and factories will close Monday, either in solidarity with the effort or in anticipation of staff shortages. But local Latino organizations most active in the pro-immigrant campaign plan to boycott the boycott.

No Chicago boycott, but rally organizers hope turnout makes statement

Jake Easter,of Kearns, Utah, holds a U.S. flag as he and others oppose any illegal alien reform during an anti-immigration rally Monday, May 1, 2006, in Salt Lake City.

Rock throwing reported in Santa Ana - The Orange County Register SANTA ANA — Police asked other law enforcement agencies for help this afternoon after a group of 1,500 protesters jammed traffic on Bristol Street near 1st Street and Edinger Avenue and some started to hurls rocks, plastic bottles and marbles at officers. “It’s starting to take a turn for the worse,” Santa Ana police Sgt. Lorenzo Carrillo said. Sixteen officers at the scene were not injured by the thrown objects. Assistance was requested about 6 p.m. As soon as more officers are on the scene, people who don’t leave the area will be arrested, Carrillo said. The aggressive crowd members are different from those who marched downtown earlier today, he said.

In Mexico, boycott of U.S. goods appears to fizzle-MEXICO CITY - Millions of Mexicans stayed home from work Monday to celebrate the May Day holiday and some even marched, but there were few signs of any widespread boycott of American goods in solidarity with immigrants in the United States.Protesters intermittently blocked border bridges in Nuevo Laredo, Matamoros and Reynosa and urged Mexicans to stay home. Those who chose to cross the bridges were met with insults, according to media reports.

May Day Field Reports-posted at 2:37 pm on May 1, 2006 by Michelle

# 1 BORDER AGENTS TO AMERICANS: "YOU HAVE BEEN INVADED"

# 2 HEY GRINGO, I DON'T HAVE TO SHOW YOU ANY STINKIN' PAPERS

# 3 'Nuestro Himno' Foes Say U.S. Song Should Be in English- A chorus of Americans, including President Bush and conservative local talk radio hosts, voiced their opinion Friday that the national anthem should be English-only.

# 4 Mexico and Anti-Americanism -Yet, it seems to me there are deep rumblings in the foundations of this relationship that we've not heard for many decades, on several different fronts. Attitudes in Mexico have shifted. Not the attitudes of a disaffected few, but the attitudes of a nation. We watched in horror as thousands of Mexican soccer fans chanted "OSAMA, OSAMA, OSAMA" right after 9/11 when the American team was on the field, openly and brazenly revealing mainstream Mexican sentiment toward us. Fast forward to 2006 as hundreds of thousands of Mexican illegal aliens (among others) take to protest marches all over our nation for weeks, demanding their "rights", claiming we are on their territory, openly proclaiming their continued loyalty to Mexico, ridiculing our laws, and committing disgusting acts with our Flag.

# 5 Dobbs: Radical groups taking control of immigrant movement - NEW YORK (CNN) -- We all awoke to headlines in our nation's most important newspapers reminding us that this is "A Day Without Immigrants." Not illegal immigrants, mind you, but immigrants. USA Today headlined today's demonstrations and boycott "On Immigration's Front Lines." The New York Times headlines its story "With Calls for Boycott by Immigrants, Employers Gird for Unknown." The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times are both calling their coverage "The Immigration Debate." These major newspapers obviously don't want to disturb their readers with the information that today's demonstrations and boycott are about illegal immigration and amnesty for illegal aliens.

# 6 Admit it: We've been had- How can you miss it? Illegal aliens are marching in the streets demanding rights that only confer with citizenship. The president equivocates, wanting to please everyone, wanting to be the nice guy, wanting his own agenda, which thus far he's not had the courage to state clearly, even though he knows it would be a betrayal of GOP and conservative beliefs. He is, after all, a politician – one with clearly liberal-leaning, one-world, open-border, free-trade beliefs. He's being tested now and is twisting in the wind.

Events Related to Day Without Immigrants -

Boycotts: Central theme of the day, with immigrants being urged to boycott work, school and shopping. In Tucson, Ariz., an organizer urged "no buying at all," not even calls to Mexico.

Rallies: In New York City, immigrants and supporters planned to form human chains in several spots around lunch time. Advocates planned to march in Orlando, Fla., Allentown, Pa., and Seattle, among many other cities. In downtown Louisville, Ky., a procession was scheduled from the federal courthouse to Jefferson Park.

Services: Roman Catholic churches holding immigration-themed Masses. Cardinal Justin Rigali of Philadelphia planned deliver a homily about immigration reform during a noon Mass.

Schools: New Haven, Conn., schools were bracing for a walkout, as were school officials in Denver. In Gainesville, Ga., administrators sent a letter home to parents saying absences would not be tolerated.

Activist plugs boycott support - Roberto Reveles, chairman of We Are America, another group promoting the boycott, declined to say how many people he thinks will participate in Monday's boycott, but he hopes the number will be significant."Mexicans work so hard here in the United States," said Maria de la Luz Arroyo, 57, who plans to refrain from spending money on Monday. "We need immigration reform that gives undocumented immigrants amnesty."In the Valley, the more-aggressive Immigrants Without Borders is calling on supporters to stay home from school and work on Monday and not spend money. We Are America is telling workers not to risk their jobs and to support events like voter-registration drives and prayer services. It also asks students to stay in school.

The video clip was submitted by an Oceanside student who did not identify him/her self, but made a brief statement. "My father was born in Mexico and came here before I was born," the source said. "I have gone back with him to his home, and I can see why he left. No human would want to live there." "I think it's a joke that many of the activists of immigration scream about their opponents being rascist, while they call theselves La Raza. That means The Race in English. Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?

Can someone keep a list of all the places in their area that they saw closed down?

I guarantee you... in my area, and about a 30 mile radius... EM & her family are doing just that... and taking photo's. This time and last time. (Not sure if that's really your question.)

I read each of your reports of your day with interest, nodding my head. It was blissful for me.

First of all, no noise pollution from the gardeners and no eye pollution and smog from their junky vehicles.

No Spanish. I did not hear a word of Spanish all day long and I covered a wide area on the west side of L.A. (8-12 miles away from the "action").

The first thing I noticed was an unusual number of (non-hispanic) people wearing patriotic clothing, usually a t-shirt with flag design such as I wore. Also wore my big sparkly flag pin, red white blue clothing. Really appreciate your telling of how you "modelled" your shirt, EM. LOL!

I went to the pharmacy, then shopped at SEARS (slacks and a top). It was uncrowded, but there WERE shoppers and I spotted one lady buying several patriotic theme t-shirts for boys, plus pants. We exchanged smiles.

Everything was orderly. It was not the usual torn-up store when THEY are there with their kiddies. There was such a feeling of serenity everywhere I went, no crowds, no rush. I finished up with grocery shopping at Vons. Spent @ $100, including cash back. *g*

It was nice to see there are plenty of OTMs here and patriots as well. Oh, noticed some cars sporting U.S. flags, haven't seen that in a few years. I could live like this every day and thensome. It's sad to think they will be back tomorrow and as annoying as ever. My tolerance has been maxed out.

I also had a phone call incident which I will relate tomorrow. Tired now. Good night and hugs to all.
