In pure logical reasoning, Mexico is the greatest security threat America faces. Iran and North Korea pale in comparison, Mexico can tear us asunder, and will if not stopped.

Although it's extremly pessimistic, I had a friend make a comment one time that various Middle Eastern countries weren't our biggest threat. He mentioned that they could keep killing Americans here and there for the next 200 years and we could survive just fine.

On the other hand, Mexico and some nations south could easily bankrupt us or cause enough turmoil through one way or another where our society would undergo radical transformation, whether it's such a large influx of people who might eventually end up voting in our elections, or dragging down public assistance/welfare/etc. for those already here.

This was a couple of years ago and I didn't go along with it too much then, but after having seen some of the economic and political philosophies that are turning up south of the border over the past few years, it's easy to see how our whole political system could be turned upside, and that would do more damage to our country than any number of terrorists.
