I think the Republican Party is not quite where it ought to be on some issues. The party could stand some improvement.
I think the Libertarian Party holds some ideas which I consider "non-serious". I think Libertarians could modify their positions somewhat and become a credible political party.
I think the Democrat Party has gone off the deep-end and cannot be rescued.
I dream of a day when America has 2 political parties:
Republicans: Socially conservative, diplomatically strong, maybe too loose with money.
Libertarians: Guarding against intrusive government, diplomatically uninterested, conservative on fiscal matters.
