Rush Limbaugh Radio Show | 4-5-06

Posted on 04/05/2006 12:15:22 PM PDT by Babu

Rush just said a Freeper had an idea, and that it was a good one, for Republicans in the Congress to take Harry Reid's proposal for an immigration bill from 1993, and make it their own current proposal ...

This is politics 101 and the Republicans once again seem to not know how to play the game until Freepers tell them.

Yes, I listened to the details of Dingy Harry's once-realistic position on ILLEGAL immigration. Such hypocrits and liars the Libs are. They change color faster than a chameleon and are totally untrustworthy.

Rush's presentation was done to mainly rub the hypocritical libs' nose in their own excrement. It is so clear they could care less about America, and only focus on what they can destroy for America to put them back into power...they are useless and dangerous.

I was hoping he'd mention me on his show. But once again, I was overlooked... *sighs*

What can the Republicans say, really? Most of them, including the president, back what Reid is saying now. The Republicans are on both sides of this issue.

Me too. I guess my solution of a bounty of $1000 per head was no good.

Interesting. We could get the "Dog" on the situation. He could start a national franchise of bounty hunters.

This has nothing to do with the President it has to do with putting the Rats on the defensive so they will quit playing obstructionist and let some of these good amendments pass that will mitigate the inevitable guest worker (amnesty) program. Example, making it illegal for convicted criminal illegal aliens to be a part of the program.

I just read the bill and I didn't see amnesty anywhere in there and I saw tough sanctions for illegals and their employers, a drop in legal entry rates, and the best thing is to eliminate the ability for illegals to come and drop anchor babies. I'd support it. Let's do this. Go Pajamahadeen!!

"He could start a national franchise of bounty hunters."

You bet. A bounty has its advantages:

A) 12 million illegals are costing us $12B/year, equal to $1000 per illegal.
B) A tax-free bounty of $1000, therefore, costs the US taxpayer nothing.
C) Every year thereafter, the US is $12B ahead.
D) We can then use that $12B to build a wall and post guards.
E) Four illegals = $4,000. Ten illegals gets you $10,000 tax free dollars. The money stays in, and improves, our economy.
F) The price of lettuce increases because Americans WILL do the job, but at $20/hr.
G) Round up one illegal and the bounty should cover any lettuce price increase for quite some time.

Like hell it doesn't. You can try to play politics with this if you want but when you boil this issue down it's all about the president. You didn't hear Americans clamoring for a guest worker program--it was the president under the order of Vicente Fox. Now you hear Americans screaming about their communities being invaded while being told to shut up take it because it's inevitable. Don't be foolish this has everything to do with the president.

How about a Republican and Democrat sponsor this bill? Or are all the Democrats buying into the Borg mentality.

The sponsorship of this bill would be brilliant tactically. The Bush Family, MSM, and some Dems are so far successful casting any dissent as "racist", refusing hearings with economists and other dissenters, expressing shock at the Felony provision which was sponsored not by Republicans but Democrats.

Sponsoring Reid's bill will open up discussion on economic issues.

Also need to keep hitting on the McCain/Bush "jobs that Americans won't do" line.

I'm reading the first 2 lines of the thread and I don't see the word "President". The threat to use his bill against him is symbolic, nothing more, nothing less.

Be nice on the Bushbots. They spent all their political capital defending Bush II on the quickie Dubai deal. They're spent and their arguments trying to fathom a position that Bush is not against their interests is very difficult this time.
