Why do I feel guilty for thinking that we fought on the wrong side in that conflict?

We're still on the wrong side.

I'm still wondering why a problem in Europe's zone couldn't be
cleaned up without US troops, equipment and greenbacks.

"Southwest USA = Kosovo < 100 yrs"

Unless the population of Mohammadens in the SW (or elsewhere in the States) gets much much larger, I doubt we'll see another Kosovo here. One of the big things the Hispanics have going for them is that a) they are culturally Westerners (if not Anglo Saxons) and more importantly, b) they are Christians. In the Balkans, the Mohammadens are culturally Turks, a breed of cat not even remotely Western, and they are, well, Mohammadens.

I guess you're right on that. I just saw in Kosovo a group of people moving into an area in such high numbers that they overwhelm the original inhabitants in such a way that the area is lost to them by default.

Nothing in the Balkans is ever that simple, Sean and it hasn't been since before the Turks!

The similarities between Kosovo and what some call Aztlan are striking. Pity that the US is on record as having created a legal precedent for such land-thefts-by-illegal-immigration.

There may be no right side.

If Kosovar Muslims continue to abuse their freedom,
I would be happy to bomb them as well.

The Albanian paramilitary groups murdered Serbs in selected villages to cleanse the rest of them. There was no losing by default, it was losing due to murder and fear to cause the Serbs to move...............Very well organized and continuing until today and most likely will spill into Southern Presevo and Mexico.

There may be no right side.

But that didn't stop Clinton from picking a side and jumping in to assist the folks who support 9/11.

Psst, don't let Hoplite or Mark know about this, it may ruffle their revisionist feathers!

This is a good read and provides valuable insight into how the situation is continually and willfully manipulated by the media and how some seek to take advantage of it. No amount of boondoggling by the Bobbsey twins can change the facts.

See Hoplite, this is what happens you are actually there and not pontificating from out of range.

There's an extremely well informed article from Srdja Trifkovic about the infiltration of the Mujahideen and Iranians into Europe.

http://www.chroniclesmagazine.org/cgi-bin/newsviews.cgi/Islam/2006/04/06/Jihad_in_the_Balkan

It's based on a interview with Catalin Harnagea , the former director of Romania’s post-communist intelligence service.

But it can't be true because Hoplite and Mark said so.

Mark is a paid Shill for the Albanians, he represents the US brain trust in Albania, it's his job to spin up the best stories for supporting the criminality in Kosovo.

Especially when he gets routed on historical accuracy, it's embarrassing actually.
