As long as Gordon doesn't have a "wardrobe malfunction" everything should be all right.....snicker.

Nascar is far more family friendly with Christian values than Disneyland!
This sums it up for me:
Any adult that was offended by [Truex's crew chief's] rather explicit description as to how his car was handling should just crawl under a bed somewhere and wait until Judgment Day.

A March 15 ruling by the FCC declared: "The 'S-word' is a vulgar excretory term so grossly offensive to members of the public that it amounts to a nuisance and is presumptively profane. Like the 'F-word,' it is one of the most offensive words in the English language, the broadcast of which is likely to shock the viewer and disturb the peace and quiet of the home."
Oh, come on. In what alternate reality do these clowns live?
It's not a polite word, and not suitable for all company, but "one of the most offensive words in the English language"? Ludicrous.
If you don't want to hear how real people talk in real situations, then don't mic them. I don't know what they expected to hear.

These people were watching a freaking NASCAR race, not 'Barney & Friends.'

As for whatever children may have been watching, you can bet that this is a word they've heard a hundred times before, probably from their own parents in the context of ... 'Don't give me any more of your C-word, you little B-word, or I'll kick your little A-word so hard, you'll have to unbutton your shirt to take an S-word.'" Needs repeating.

WTF!?
In any case, I hope it's FOX, not DEI that gets any fines levied, but I hope there are none. A warning at most would be sufficient.

I'm sure, with the time of year, after all the little kiddies
get their bunny wabbits and after a few mis-placed "raisins"are left on the new carpet and grounded into the fiber by juniors cleanly pressed pant knees the word "kaka" will not be used.

If history is any guide, FOX and Kevin Manion (the crew chief who actually made the slip) will each get fined. Dale Junior got slapped with a fine for letting an "s-bomb" slip in an interview after he won a race. Not sure if they may go lighter on driver to crew chief radio chatter as compared to an on camera interview.

I'm sure glad no one was broadcasting my 18 year old son's comments when Junior wrecked on the second lap. ;-)
BTW, I watched the entire race and did not hear the reported comment by Truex's crew chief.

Experts speculate that it's mere utterance could actually trigger the Apocalypse.

I am surprised that there isn't somekind of delay device on those car-to-crew conversations.
