I wonder how many of these folks were outraged by the Mexican flag flying during these protests?

Yea, thats what we need, a state licensed Confederate X on every 3r vehicle down here, Malcolms X on every 2nd, and a La Raza fist on the 3rd. No thanks.
Stick whatever flag you want on your bumper, but this would be bad public policy.

I may very well get flamed for this, but here it goes anyway;
While I in no way view the Confederate battle flag as a racist symbol, I also do not understand the reasoning for displaying it. The South lost, the North won, and as Jim Rome says; SCOREBOARD! To the victors go the spoils.
All joking aside, I really don't care if someone wants to display the Stars and Bars.

They're going at it a little bit differently in Florida, it seems. In South Carolina and Virginia, the plates are specifically for members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and feature the SCV logo. This Florida proposal sounds more general.
The SC plate:

Can I ask some simple questions here about the Confederate Flag?
Which party designed it?
Which Party used the Klu Klux Klan to target and intimidate Blacks from Voting for republicans while using the Confederate Flag as a symbol of that party's White dominance of the south?
Which party still uses the confederate flag as a symbol of racial hate today to make Black people vote for the very party that has spent decades oppressing and enslaving them?
I Know the answer I would just like for once to hear those that profess such intence love for the confederate flag to admit for once that those that created it and have used it as a weapon of terror since the end of the civil war were and are the same people that freely condemn it to insure that they continue to get the votes of those they once lynched for voting republican.
You may love it as a symbol of your heritage, but that party is the creator of that heritage, do you really want to embrace how they have used that flag?
