NOW --- LET'S TALK ABOUT MCKINNEY'S AMAZING PRESS CONFERENCE
It's been a while since I've received a traffic ticket. As soon as they catch me using that HOV entrance to I-85 that may change. I do recognize, as hope others do, that the very same police officer who is raising your insurance rates with that traffic ticket would, under different circumstances, stand between you and a bullet in order to protect you.
The same goes for the Capital Hill Police in Washington. Cynthia McKinney seems to believe that their primary responsibility is to feed the egos of Congressmen and Senators by recognizing them. The Capitol Cops were organized to protect elected officials, not to massage their substantial egos. Truth be told, these Congressmen and Senators should be going through the checkpoints just like every else does. In fact, one Senator does just that! Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia always goes through the metal detector and treats the Capitol Cops with respect. Score one for him.
That brings us to McKinney's press conference. McKinney has a gigantic racial chip on her shoulder. She comes by it honestly, I guess. Her father, Billy McKinney, has been carrying on like this for decades. Billy McKinney, while serving in the Georgia House of Representatives, actually threatened to "cut" another legislator over some slight. When Cynthia lost a reelection bid four years ago Billy blamed "those Jews ... the J-E-W-S" for her defeat.
Now we have Cynthia McKinney calling the Capital Cop who stopped her a "racist." Her lawyers say that the white officer whom Cynthia hit should be investigated. Investigated? For what? Doing his job?
Now ... let's see just how pathetic Cynthia McKinney can get. Last Friday there was a group of black school children from South Georgia visiting Capital Hill. They were accompanied by a local NAACP official named Hal Pressley. McKinney actually talked Pressley into allowing her to use these children as a prop for her press conference. There were standing behind her holding signs saying "Is Cynthia a Target?" and "Recognize our Congresswoman." Pressley said that the Capitol Cop who stopped McKinney looked "like someone who just came off a plantation."
What we have here is Cynthia McKinney hiding behind her skin color. She has a reputation on Capitol Hill for abusive and arrogant behavior, and she finally took it a step too far. Trouble is on the horizon, so it's time to hide behind her race.
Now ... for those of you who think that this might hurt Cynthia's reelection chances, you can give that idea rest. She's safe. Her constituents are going to love this. To them, Cynthia is just standing up to the Man. It's really frightening to think about the type of people we have in Washington making laws. It's even more frightening to think about the people who put them there.

Couldn't have said it better. She is a sterotype black racist, troublemaker, and typical mindless liberal.
It should not be forgotten that two Capitol Police officers (one black, one white) where shot to death while on duty in 1998 by a raving nutter. These guy's lives are on the line to protect people like Cynthia. She owes them some respect.

We were in DC when that happened, and had just left the immediate Capitol area about 5 min before. We were walking back to our hotel, and all these police/ ambulance/ fire trucks etc were tearing through the area, and we thought "Wow, something must be going on" and when we stopped at an irish pub to eat and we found out what had happened.
Cynthia and the other Blacks had better wake up to the fact that when the Hispanics achieve political power they will be the first to lose.
There is no Rainbow coalition, it is a figment of Jacksons imagination.Blacks only hope is to unite with the Whites and fight the ILLEGAL immigration into our country.
The majority of Blacks are true Americans unlike the ILLEGAL immigrants. Why can't Blacks see this?
