The Republicans are about to legalize 12 million Democrat voters and alienate 75% of the rest of the electorate

That's what I don't understand. They are hell-bent on pleasing people who won't even vote for them. The motive must be something else, like pleasing the international corporations who want to eliminate the borders and have lots of cheap labor.

Yeah, Bush is just another transnational. With the possible exception of a few apparent mavericks, like Tancredo, I don't see partisan differences on immigration: all the elites are in bed with the corporations. The only substantive argument is over the pace of change, not whether it will take place.

I've thought about the Republicans' motivations a lot and what I've come up with is...McCain's ego is so big it's blotting out the sun. Graham spends his free time sniffing McCain's shorts and will go along with whatever he wants in the hope of being McCain's running mate. The rest of the Republicans who are onboard with this must be funded by the big business interests who want cheap labor. But the one I can't figure out is Bush--he's not running for anything. Unless he really is a one-world globalist who thinks that ultimately unrestricted borders are for the best.

But in the meantime, before we get to this one-world "utopia," the Republicans will have turned themselves into a permanent minority party by legalizing millions of votes for the opposition. The Democrats take over and the country goes down the tubes. And these guys think they're the smartest ones in the room. Amazing.
