Indonesia Prepares for Possible Attack

JAKARTA, Indonesia -- Indonesian police increased security throughout the country Sunday in response to a warning of a possible terrorist attack issued last week by Australia and the United States, police officials said.

Australia and the United States had warned their citizens living in Indonesia that Sunday was a potential date for a terrorist attack in the country, possibly directed at Western targets. Indonesian authorities said they had no specific information of a possible attack and the security measures were precautionary.

"So far we do not have any intelligence or indication of a terrorist attack plan," said National Police Chief Gen. Sutanto.

National Police spokesman, Brig. Gen. Anton Bahrul Alam said tourist destinations, embassies, shopping centers and foreign housing blocks were priorities for increased security measures.

They will try harder than ever to attempt to start an attack in Indonesia, after Blair and Condi literally brushed the Islamic moonbats demonstrating against them in that same country not too long ago. To these terrorists, Blair and Condi's remarks amounted to one-finger salutes to them.

How frustrating I find it when an article comes out and they give a warnin but there is no basis for the warning.

That would be like a warning of a possible earthquake could hit in the area prone to earthquakes.
